What we are missing in our ministry is a deliberate quest to understand the people we are serving and their unique faith readiness phase. This would be similar to a doctor treating illnesses without first doing a diagnosis.

It is important to remember how generally insignificant the work we do is in the lives of young people. Not the pep talk you expected, right? But, it's true.
